For once I have good news. I am informed by 9W2ART (Azhar) that the budget for RKK rehabilitation has been approved by the National Council. Now all that needs to be done is for ART to purchase the items for us. Our requirements are new antenna and new cable(s) and a team to set it up. Volunteers for the installation - please contact the Repeater Manager 9M2 CJ (Thiam) for details.
With the approval, I humbly seek the donors permission to utilise the funds collected to purchase a reliable power supply and a nominal contribution to the installation team for taking time off from work and expending their energy and time for our benefit.
I must also record appreciation to 9W2ART for pursuing the matter on my/our behalf though his portfolio is that of Education Bureau - makes me wonder who is really the person in charge at the National Council for repeater management, oops... I can get the information from MARTS web site. Silly me.
Anyway after the MARTS AGM I will be calling for a meeting of the members in the Greater Klang Valley to elect a new State Manager.

On behalf of 9W2GL, 9W2WAN, 9W2AA, we like to extent our hand of assistant where and when possible. 9W2AA has agreed to assist is programming and retunning the repeater, changing the cable and antenna alone is not enough if the repeater is not retune.
