SELANGOR OPEN FOX HUNT 2008
Hi
What a day it was? We were worried as the traffic conditions before the start of the event threw out all our preparations out of sync but thank God all went well except maybe for the slight hiccup with the park authorities. Thanks for the understanding shown by the park authorities for allowing the show to go on (hate to think what would have happened if they did not allow the event to go on).
To the participants - thanks for your support!!! it was a six star effort by you guys that made this a blooming success. For the spectators and crowd - thanks a million for turning up and supporting the event - those that bought the T Shirts - thanks too for parting with your money and supporting the event.
To the Committee - thanks a zillion terrabyte. We will sit down and do a postmortem to discuss the shortcomings and your comments would be most welcome - so that in the future we know what to do and not to do. Was it to easy - to hard - whatever your comments are welcome. You can post it here on the blog or e mail me direct.
The results were verified by the Chief Marshall and we will publish it on this blog and on www.martscentral.blogspot.com
Once again - thanks to all that participated and showed their support by being present.

I have posted my comments earlier. Somehow it got lost. Congratulation to the organiser. You have done a good job though there was teething problems initially.I am disappointed with the number of teams participating ,
I expected more MARTS members to be involved.Gathering every Friday night at TTDI has not shown any positive actions.Luckily there were 3 teams from V17 group. They were very enthiasistic and had trial runs the earlier weekend. They won the first and third prize. They deserve it.the team from Perak needs a pat on the back. They came all the way from Perak....ham spirit i suppose. On the whole it was a success. Thanks to one and all....organiser, participants and supporters. There are still room for improvement The winner is AMATEUR RADIO SPIRIT.
BTW the lunch was good... free of charge.

Dear observer, your comment was not lost... it was posted under the previous Fox Hunt blog post... ;)
I applaud the "semangat" of the V17 teams who did trial runs and strategised for the competition... well done... perhaps it would motivate the rest of MARTS members to participate in the future...
Kudos to PARTS for making it all the way from Perak... perhaps we could return the spirit by participating in their Treasure Hunt next month...
Overall, I feel that it's a good first run for the organising team... we'll be collating the feedback we get to be discussed in the near future... =)
I agree we've still got room for improvement... hopefully we get the opportunity to redeem ourselves at the next event... cheers!
