Dear Honorable Secretary MARTS,
I refer to the matter above and hereby request that the National Council of MARTS do hold the long overdue Annual General Meeting of the Society.
I am aware that it takes two (2) members to requisition for a General Meeting to take place.
In the event the Accounts are not ready for the AGM, please consider only one agenda to the AGM or SGM i.e. the holding of elections to elect the new office bearers of the society.

I spoke to the President a few days ago.He said the accounts are not yet ready to be tabled at the AGM.He further mentioned that he is not getting full coperation from other council members.I stressed to him the importance of
having the AGM soonest.He agreed to have the AGM without the audited accounts but I dont forsee
it will be held in August or September 2009 due to the comimg fasting month and Hari Raya holidays.
Dont blame anybody, we elected them in office two years ago.
So let this be a lesson for the future.If you are not prepared to work for MARTS dont ever offer yourself to hold office.
Let us wait and see.
