Just a friendly reminder that the MARTS AGM will be held in Ipoh. Details of which can be seen at www.marts.org
I know that it will be on a long weekend and that Hari Raya Aidil Adha will fall on the preceding Friday and some commitments may have been made, but if you are on your way back from your holidays, do drop by Ipoh and attend or at least take a break from your journey and have some eyeball session with your friends.

I will be away in Cambodia during the AGM.
My 2 sen worth of comments.
MARTS is at its lowest ebb.We never had it worst for the last few years.The membership have dwindled.People are not interested in MARTS anymore.The Council among themselves are not united.Some of them are not members... they did not pay their subscriptions. They dont attend council meetings.How can we expext a society to run without a strong council.
The financial years ends on 31 Dec. After 11 months the audited acccounts cannot be produced.Shame to whoever is responsible.
In the annual report so much is mentioned about ARDF.Not all these events are run by MARTS especially the one in Kuala Lumpur and Malacca.
To give credit to MARTS is undeserving.I have not received the financial report. However I was told that the financial situation is bad.The bank balance is depleting. Is is due to poor finacial management or fraud I do not know.Members attending the AGM should scrutise the accounts. Make sure every sen spent is justified.
Last but not least , I would urge those intending to be in the next Council to ask themselves. Are you prepared to sacrifice your time and money for this Society or you just want personal glory. If you are not prepared to serve the Society, please do not hold any post.Otherwise you will be wasting other peoples time.There are some opportunist around
To all attending the AGM, have a please meeting. Please behave yourselves and dont be be like uneducated fools.
Let this meeting be a new journey for MARTS
