SELANGOR OPEN FOX HUNT 2008

Hi

What a day it was? We were worried as the traffic conditions before the start of the event threw out all our preparations out of sync but thank God all went well except maybe for the slight hiccup with the park authorities. Thanks for the understanding shown by the park authorities for allowing the show to go on (hate to think what would have happened if they did not allow the event to go on).

To the participants - thanks for your support!!! it was a six star effort by you guys that made this a blooming success. For the spectators and crowd - thanks a million for turning up and supporting the event - those that bought the T Shirts - thanks too for parting with your money and supporting the event.

To the Committee - thanks a zillion terrabyte. We will sit down and do a postmortem to discuss the shortcomings and your comments would be most welcome - so that in the future we know what to do and not to do. Was it to easy - to hard - whatever your comments are welcome. You can post it here on the blog or e mail me direct.

The results were verified by the Chief Marshall and we will publish it on this blog and on www.martscentral.blogspot.com

Once again - thanks to all that participated and showed their support by being present.

SELANGOR OPEN FOX HUNT 2008

Hi

Just a reminder that the Fox Hunt will be held at Taman Tasik Titiwangsa Kuala Lumpur this weekend 20th July 2008 at 9.30 a.m. and its all systems go.

We have participation from our friends from PARTS and in true ham spirit they are most welcome.

By now you would have known that the Committee for MARTS Central Region has put up a blogspot also - so that means that this spot is redundant and will be drawing to a close in the near future.

Anyway lets make the Fox Hunt a success and I am reliably informed that some of the hunters have been practising at the venue over the past few days.

Well done friends - its all systems go (insyallah) we can only plan but the Almighty God decides.

The ARDF Antenna Building Class at MARES Club House Petaling Jaya, again my sincere appreciation for the usage of the Club premises to 9M2AU and 9W2BBS and the gang for the usage of the Club premises

See you there and attached herewith is the registration table location map.

Before I sign off - happy hunting and good luck -
